Wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Christmas and New Year!
ok... I had to hurry and work on my Christmas post, otherwise I was going to have to join them with the next Christmas... yeah... that's how bad I am about updating my blog... oh well!
We had a great time! We went to Utah for Christmas and had a really nice time, we got a lot of snow while we were there, we enjoyed a lot although not as much as we wished because the kids were sick.
Then we came back to Colorado and Granparents and uncle came from Mexico. We had a lot of fun with them too, we went tubing, shopping and had a wonderful New Year's Eve. We laughed a lot with Dylan's "Sopa de Bruja" (witch soup, that it's pretty funny with all the "ingredients" Dylan can come up with, I better don't go into the details). We enjoyed Aidan's favorite song "Gingle Bells" (Ginglembells mexican joke).

Colorado's weather... from the 30's to 70's and vice versa!

Yeah! that's our Colorado one day you can be playing at the park and the very next day you can have a few inches of snow at the very same park! I think that's part of the beauty of Colorado it's spontaneity, like when Dylan was born in mid May and snowed or when Aidan was born Jan 5th and was 70 degrees.

Aidan he's a sweetheart! He is talking more and more, although he's mixing some Spanish and English that sounds pretty funny!
I think we already know what he is going to be when he grows up... a PLUMBER! (no matter what he wears, he always shows his plumber's crack.

Dylan goes to school!

He is doing very well at school, and I think he might have a crush on one of his teachers. Today on our way to school, he told me "when we get to school, we'll see what color Jackie is wearing" me: "Why?" D: "To see how beautiful she looks today"

She loves to ride her brother's jeep, and she's an expert at climbing on to Big Jake

She is very patient when mommy decides to fix her hair. I just need to give her some toys... like the toothpaste and my make-up.

Her favorite game is to walk with a bucket on her head.

She loves to sneak into the downstairs closet and make a mess.

A day in the life of Sofia

My little girl.

Sofia, is growing up so fast, or at least fast enough that now she can get into trouble. She started crawling a couple of months ago (at 9 months) and now she gets into every corner of the house. She is without a doubt the best vacuum I have ever had, she picks up everything that is on the floor. I am so grateful for the blessing of having a girl, she is so sweet! and I love getting her dressed and fixing the hair, it is like playing house. She just started standing up, and you should see her face when she is standing, she is so proud of herself. Here are a few picture of a day in the life of Sofia.

Halloween!!!

We had a wonderful Halloween with the kids. I think this was the first time that Dylan and Aidan realized what Halloween is about and they really enjoyed everything, from wearing costumes, going trick or treating to eating the candy (we enjoyed that part too).
Dylan was a frog, Aidan was a bumble bee and Sofia was a little pumpkin. I got to be a witch (well... a different kind of witch than the one I usually am) to go to a Halloween Party.
Another thing that Dylan enjoyed a lot were all the Halloween songs that he learned at the music class, especially Halloween Cat! and the Scarecrow song.
Aidan looked so cute when we went trick or treating... he couldn't say "trick or treat" but he surely could put his bag to get a treat.
